The chairman of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi denied reports that some patients died due to lack of Oxygen in the hospital.

“When Oxygen pressure lowered in ICU beds, the hospital gave patients Oxygen manually. We didn’t let anyone die without Oxygen," Chairman of the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital said.

Some reports claimed that 25 patients had died at Delhi’s Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the last 24 hours and the hospital was facing acute shortage of oxygen. The reports added that lives of another 60 sickest patients in the hospital was in peril.

However, the Chairman of the hospital, denying the claims, said that Inox will supply 9,000-10,000 cubic meters of Oxygen daily after it gets NOC from the state government.
